Program Overview

Engage in a program that balances theoretical knowledge with practical skill to help you become a leader in designing and managing digital content in any field or organization. Students will gain experience in both digital writing and digital production, while also developing expertise in strategy, message design, platform delivery and assessment. 

  • Learn from a dedicated faculty of prominent scholars, teachers, mentors and accomplished media and digital content professionals who serve as advisors, guiding your selection of courses aligned with your interests and goals.

  • Focus on digital communication technologies as both the consumer and the creator. 

  • Engage in unique coursework that focuses on three key areas: theories and concepts of Digital Communication, how to effectively design and manage digital content based on unique goals, as well as how to create and produce the content needed to engage a variety of communities across multiple platforms.

  • Develop and produce digital content, from social media to podcasts, using state-of-the-art production facilities and techniques.

  • Participate in experiential learning opportunities such as internships, competitions, practicums and research collaborations with faculty.
