Donna Harris was named the Association of Student Advancement Programs (ASAP) Outstanding Adviser of the Year for 2006 at their annual conference in San Antonio, Texas. The award is given to one of more than 300 advisors from schools around the country.
Harris, Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and Adviser to the Student Alumni Association (SAA), was nominated by the SAA students. She has served as the SAA Adviser for the past seven years. "From the moment new students become SAA members, she offers them guidance and support and welcomes them into the SAA family," said Tim Osborn, VP of Public Relations for the SAA.
"Donna's vision has brought our organization to new heights," said Philip Weiss '08. "Through her leadership, the SAA is one of the most respected student organizations at Bryant."

The Association of Student Advancement Programs, a program of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), is an association of student advancement programs at more than 300 higher education institutions across North America and Canada.
