Capezza enjoyed getting involved in the rich student life at Bryant. He was recently named the Young Alumni Trustee at commencement.
Joe Capezza '08 (Natick, MA), who earned a degree in finance in May, made the decision to come to Bryant because of the intimate and student-centered atmosphere that allows each student to have a presence on campus.
"When I came here, I just felt at home... a gut instinct," he said. "The school attracts a certain kind of person. Everyone here is so friendly and is always willing to help you."
The engaging campus and welcoming community enabled Capezza to become extensively involved in student life. He served as an Admission Ambassador, treasurer and VP of the Italian American Association, was active in the Pastoral Council, was a founding member of Colleges Against Cancer, and a member of President Macthley's Senior Advisory Counciil.
Capezza was also an active member of the Student Programming Board (SPB), which plans campus events throughout the year, including comedians, bands, and cultural events. He will be long remembered at Bryant as one of the "official bingo callers" for weekly games that attract over 200 people.
Capezza spent two summers interning with fidelity investments and now works as an Investment Specialist with Bank of America. Capezza will be a frequent visitor to campus throughout the next three years, as he fulfills his role as the Young Alumni Trustee.
