Bryant University Institute for Leadership Development

The Bryant University Institute for Leadership Development (B.U.I.L.D.) introduces high school juniors who identify themselves as African American or Black, Asian American, Latino/a or Hispanic, Native American, as well as female students - regardless of race or ethnicity - to exciting business careers. Computer information systems, economics, finance, management, marketing, mathematics, and communication fields are explored, with many opportunities to learn from Bryant University faculty and local business leaders.
Students who are selected for this program will gain an understanding of corporate America and get a first-hand look at how their academic studies apply in the real world. They will also have the opportunity to live on the Bryant campus, take corporate tours, and enjoy social activities on and off campus.
The program is open to college-bound high school juniors (rising seniors) with a minimum 2.7 GPA or equivalent. Students must also have completed Algebra II by the end of their junior year.
The application deadline for the summer 2009 program is Monday, April 6, 2009.
