What if my roommate is nothing like me? What if my roommate is just like me?
We know you may be a bit anxious about having to share a room with someone you do not know. If you think about it, that is what college is all about - meeting new people. One way we make sure it is a positive experience is by matching you up with someone compatible. Our Roommate Matching Form includes a broad range of questions including your study habits, hobbies, interests and major, just to name a few. With this information, the Office of Residence Life works hard at finding you the right roommate.

Housing Options
In order to ease the transition into college life, first year students are housed together. This allows students to meet people with similar interests and form lasting friendships. Here are the different housing options we have at Bryant.
Please note that housing priority is assigned by the date we receive your enrollment deposit.
Hall 14 and Hall 15
These two halls – entirely reserved for first year students – are each four story, co-educational halls. Housing roughly 300 students, the living areas are divided by common bathrooms. Study and social lounges are available on each floor or each wing. On the main floor is a lobby area fully equipped with recreational games, vending machines, a television and a kitchen. The Resident Director’s Office and a laundry facilities are also on the first floor.
There are three different housing options available in Hall 14 and Hall 15:
Double Rooms and Triple Rooms: These are designed double and tripe rooms, and are equipped with all the furnishings you need.
Quad Room: These larger rooms have been designed to accommodate four students. This set-up provides you even more room and the opportunity to have three roommates.
Hall 16 (Suite Style):
Hall 16 is a four story, co-educational hall and two floors are reserved for first year students. The suite style living has four double bedrooms, living areas and a common bathroom. Suite style living is organized by gender. A main lounge/lobby is complete with recreational games, vending machines and television. The main floor also has laundry service and the Resident Director’s office. The Office of Health Services is also housed in Hall 16.

Health Services
Wondering where you can go on campus if you're not feeling well? Want to talk to someone about incorporating a healthy diet and exercise routine into your lifestyle? Health Services offers medical assistance, as well as health and wellness education. For more information, click here.
All incoming full-time students are required to submit a Health History form. Click here to download the form. It must be completed and mailed or faxed to the Office of Health Services by August 15, 2009. Resources
There are many resources available to students on campus. One of them is the Academic Center for Excellence/Writing Center. Also, all new students take the Foundations for Learning (FFL) course during their first year. It helps students get acclimated to campus and make a seamless transition academically and socially into college life. And you never know - President Machtley just might be your instructor for FFL!
