The College of Business: Financial Services
The study of finance includes investment management for individuals and institutions, as well as the management of financial institutions such as banks and insurance companies. Since virtually all business decisions have a financial dimension, an understanding of the financial implications of a decision is crucial for effective management.
For more information about the Financial Services program, contact Professor Elizabeth Yobaccio, Department Chair, at byobacci@bryant.edu or Associate Professor Hakan Saraoglu, Financial Services Coordinator, at saraoglu@bryant.edu.
Concentration in Financial Services
The field of Financial Services and personal financial management continues to expand due to fundamental changes in federal laws and regulatory rulings. Financial Services also encompasses the fields of securities, insurance, and banking.
Rising personal wealth has also raised the need for individuals to become more knowledgeable about managing their own personal financial resources and has created a demand for professionals who can manage the resources of others.
